2015 Maize Genetics Hotel and Travel Information:
Conference Hotel:
Pheasant Run Resort
Hotel Reservations:
Before proceeding to the Pheasant Run Maize Meeting Reservation link, you must make roommate arrangements if you plan to share a room. The Pheasant Run web site will require the name and contact information of each occupant, and one person's credit card. The card number is for purposes of reservation only and will not be charged until the conference (at checkout), although Pheasant Run's terms and conditions apply. Distributing credit card costs among occupants of a shared room will be sorted out at the front desk when you arrive at the hotel.
At the Pheasant Run website, please remember to select the check-in date as March 12 and the check-out date as March 15, and choose the appropriate Maize Room package for the number of people in your room.
If you want to arrive earlier or extend your stay after the meeting, you can do this. However, Pheasant Run's reservation system cannot handle multiple rates, so your reservation will initially show the package rate for all dates you book. Pheasant Run's reservations department will manually change your room rate to $106 plus 11% tax ($117.66) for the pre/post conference dates.
Since there has been some confusion in the past, please note that during our conference, we will be paying a package rate that includes lodging, meals and services the hotel provides to our conference. If you choose to stay elsewhere, you will still be responsible for paying the meals and services part of the package. This would be $140 per night or $420 for the entire conference.
If there are any questions about reservations, you can call call at 1-800-474-3272 -or- 1-630-584-6300. E-mail: [email protected]
