2013 Maize Genetics Hotel and Travel Information:
Conference Hotel:
Pheasant Run Resort
Hotel Reservations:
Before proceeding to the Pheasant Run Maize Meeting Reservation link, you must make roommate arrangements if you plan to share a room. The Pheasant Run web site will require the name and contact information of each occupant, and one person's credit card. The card number is for purposes of reservation only and will not be charged until the conference (at checkout), although Pheasant Run's terms and conditions apply. Distributing credit card costs among occupants of a shared room will be sorted out at the front desk when you arrive at the hotel.
At the Pheasant Run website, please remember to select a check-out date of March 17, and choose the appropriate Maize Room package for the number of people in your room.
When booking your hotel room please pay careful attention to the check-in and check-out dates. Please make sure they are the within the dates of the conference March 14 - March 17, 2013. If you select dates outside this range you may get an error "Currently, there are no rooms available for the requested date." This does not mean rooms are unavailable. If you want to arrive earlier or extend your stay after the meeting, you will need to do the reservations for 3/14/2013 - 3/17/2013 and then followup by e-mail to: [email protected] explaining which dates you actually want to check-in or check-out.
